Mike will give us a basic understanding of how microphones work. Then he will instruct us on how to get the best sound. Mic knowledge is important for all members of the band from Singers to drummers and everyone in-between. For anyone interested in recording or just getting a great sound in the midst of lazy sound engineers. You will be surprised how easy it is to get a fantastic sounding outcome.

About Our Guest speaker: Mike Cozza
Mike is the CEO of Mofonix Corp. He is an expert in amplifier design and construction. He was lead engineer for Fender developing their Sun Model T series Amps and The Pro Tube Amps. Mike Also worked for Rockford Fosgat creating audio components for Nissan, Mitsubishi and Suzuki. Later he designed the Progression Series and Relentless Amps for D'agostino amplifiers. Now Mike is the CEO of a new start up company designing world class hardware & software tools for studio and stage

House Band is the elite group of performers that rehearse weekly and perform various concerts throughout the community.

Rehearsals are Mondays, from 7:30-9pm. You can enroll any time during the year. This group is only open to adults with some playing experience.

Rookies
A fun non-performing part of our lesson plan. This group lesson works hand in hand with our private lessons. A great way for student to learn a love of music in a supportive group. It is also a great place to start if you just want to check out a band setting.

One-Hit Wonders is a super fun show that students and parents will love! This show is great for all instruments and skill levels, and will put a smile on every Rock fan’s face!

The Pop Legends show will celebrate the impact that acclaimed artists have made on the music industry. It will encompass a vast timeline of Pop Music ranging from the 60s through today, including artists such as Carol King, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Adele and many more.

Joan Jett and Pat Benatar these iconic rockers both rose to prominence in the late 1970s, and became international superstars in the early 1980s. Their styles are different but complement each other well - both are grounded in classic guitar rock.

Songs by The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Janis Joplin, Sly & The Family Stone, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Grateful Dead and more make this show an exciting and well-balanced educational challenge for all instruments and experience levels!
